My good friend always told me the grass is always greener........BMorgan wrote:Rev-Head wrote:You went to Green, I can't believe you left Doo. Someone having a mid-life crisis.
The grass is not always "greener" on the other side of the fence....

No Im not ! I raced for team Merc in 1975-76 15yrs old running new Sno pro twisters. 250 and 440. I loved those sleds and will have one again some day ! the Cat "Z's were fun to woop on ! and I never turn down a challenge. and i wont be on my Renagade. I will race for a beer or two!!kidrocker wrote:Too bad you are too young to have run into us racing back in the day with cat, 1975-1977, raced a few twisters myself. All is good, want to line up now? I have a $100.00 to find out, are you in or not? That's how much confidence I have, how about you? All in fun of course.Brook Rodenbeck wrote:Not so much as to say i dont like Cats. I loved them back years ago when they lined up with me with my Mercs. BUT They are Green ! there is one thing i like that is green. haha.kidrocker wrote:Brook, I take it you don't like Arctic Cat, LOL....Brook Rodenbeck wrote:If i were you I would run that in very deep POW all the time . It will keep the Green covered up. Just take someone with a Doo along to help get you unstuck ! and no not the whole sled Dave, Im trying to finish the projects i have now .

You gave us the 'teaser' pics - are you going to show us some with the covers off? Turbos are pretty!
Any idea what they run weight-wise? Cat hasn't published weights for years...
dave
Would love to see pics with covers off also, have to say even though green, sharp looking sled.

That was the day Barb and Aron traded sleds, when Barb rode his cat the bars were high to her, so from behind her it looked like the chicken dance, her arms were flapping. The other funny thing that day was Barb came to road crossing started to get off Arons sled to trade back, he must like them Doos, he went right buy her. Had a lot of fun that day.

Dave, beautiful sled! You can ride with me anytime, if that thing rides 1/2 as nice (and I am sure it is far nicer) than my F-8 twin spar you will LOVE - LOVE - LOVE it.
