Well our snow rides are going in semi hibernation this wknd ...picking up the quads next sat. Unless something big hits the lower they won't be touching snow till next yr . Going to the U.P for us would have to be for atleast 3-4 days and working 5/11's right now ...it's not going to happen.
Hope you have a good trip just the same ..thanks for asking

Nick i would if you didnt live way over there. Nothing personal at all , but thats way out of my way for that short of time . And thats why i am asking if anyone wants to go. My spare sled is all apart in the garage. and i will be going alone . (hopefully not ).someone11 wrote:If you pick me up in the Soo and have a spare sled to ride ill go along

Nope, still using my feet for transportation haha. (well besides friends). I talked to my parents and they said I can take a loan out through them to get a new truck. But that wont be till im done with school.
If you know anybody wanting parts off of a 94 chevy 2500 (88-95 parts are pretty interchangeable), let me know. Everything but the engine, tranny, rear end, and tires are going to scrap. Interior is spotless.

Assuming I don't get shot out of the water at the last minute AGAIN - I will be heading up to Grand Marais *MN* that weekend. If you want to keep driving to the other side of the lake you are more than welcome to join us...
I could probably even talk my friend into letting you use a 3'x7' area of his living room to sleep in (I have dibs on his couch!)...
I have no hope of getting in my usual 1000 miles on my sled this winter - just hoping to break 100 at this point!

We would love to find someone that can show us the off-trail secrets of the UP. We have been hearing about the endless powder for years! This year we went out west so maybe next year we can make it to the UP (I have a standing agreement with the wife I get to go out west every other year).
I just picked up a pair of Pilot 6.9's and have my eye on a used 137x16x2 paddle track. Stock upper gear for a 1.25" ripsaw is 22T - anyone know if I should go with a 20T or 19T?
Who knows the steps to the snow dance? I think I better start around August next summer...
