I am going to have a really hard time deciding what track to go with next.
Ripsaw 1.75" - good for off-trail but not on set up snow/ice
Charger 1.5" - compromise for trail/off trail but looks too stiff for powder
Ice-attack 1.3" - not as good for powder, good for trail/ice, really climbs over logs/trees
Let me know how you end up liking it!

I leave my snowflap stock!
The intense looks really good but doesn't come in a 2.86 pitch. I could get 2.52 drivers but that would add a couple hundred to the cost of the conversion.
You made me look again at what is out there. The ripsaw 1.5 might be a good compromise as well - not as much of a paddle track as the intense is but not as stiff as the new charger. If I keep spending more and more time off trail I may look into the challenger trail 1.75 as well. In the meantime the stock (original) 1.25 ripsaw still looks almost new - too many other things to spend money on as long as it is still good.
There is a motion before the finance committee for new shocks this year yet but the chairwoman is stalling the proceedings. The planning committee is looking at a complete teardown next summer - new e-module, upper pyramid, s-module if needed, rpm skid plate, gnr braces, replace all bearings, new throttle cable (starting to fray around the oil pump), etc. I don't see a new track in my future as long as the current one still works. On the other hand it is good to know what is out there if something catastrophic happens...
Why would you ride trails when you can go places like this?
Or like this?
Now I just have to pray for enough snow to cover up the rocks!!!

Re: Hi Guys!
My Renagade has a brand new Ripsaw 1.5" , cant wait to try it out ! I run the 1 3/8" Rip Saw and 144 studs on my 02 800. It is a awsome trail and ice track. Not to great for off trail, but you wont stay close behind me on the trail. I have been told it throws chunks at you .
