Nope not in the U.P ,and there's many more like it in the area . Lots of hills and open meadows , some not even touch all winter during the last ride we were on ....until Snow4 and I were there

It was one of our areas we looked in , no shrooms though
This passed spring was a tuff one for shrooming with the cooler temps we had .
Going to go out back today and check on the bowl and fields we play in around the house. Not sure if the farmer was able to plant this yr from all the water this past spring ....hope it was beans if he did .

Re: That spot!
Update...another check off the list ....
Did manage to go out back for a walk today,...nice day for a walk too
I like to take for a stroll in the area down here ..never know what changes from yr to year being in a suburb area.
Beans where planted , so smooth fields of play will be for some play time.
Old sub that never happened still hasn't happen...where the bowl is
Strolled though a few pocket woods and cleared the trails out from dead falls and what not.
All in all the area we do most of our playing around here checks out good , just need SNOW !
THE bowl...

Re: That spot!
Be careful Rick, a lot of growers down here are working the ground (either chisel plowed or disked) this fall because of the wet conditions durning harvest. They are doing this to work out compaction. If the ground is nothing but disked, you can get across it with decent snow, but if it is chisel plowed, you will need quite a fit of snow to get across it. There may also be quite a few ruts in fields if you were wet at all during harvest. We are going to have to be really careful down here because we have ruts absolutely everywhere.
