Now you did it Brian ! and Dave that was awsome ! a question for all the off trail riders, some of you know I have not done any of this. How do you know if those large bumps are snow or rocks,stumps or ??

Brook in those conditions it does matter cause there is soooooo much POW! Early season riding well???? Thats another story! Its the chance you just gotta take! LOL

See Brook, I'm not known for hitting cat tails,water, or trees.. so it was just fine he left me out I just ride to the next main junctions and wait...and wait... LOL in this area.. i would just keep going.. no way im stopping.... but you can kind of " read " snow for things.

and Ally, GO BUCKS

as the last one, but I just had the feeling that after this year, I just may regret that statement


Brook, dont let her fool ya, she has rode and played in the deep stuff just as much as any of us and she will hang right there with anyone. As for stumps under the snow,,, you really have to keep an eye out on the snow in front of you and you have to accept the fact that you could hit something and take out an a arm,,,, just a fact of riding that way. If I am riding through and see a big rise in the snow, that is usually a good thing to avoid,,, you have no clue what is underneath that
