My middle son, Sam is in this video @ 1:04...He's a mechanic with a engineering unit doing route (IED) clearance..
22nd ECC in Afghanistan

John actually has one son there now and another that will be there very soon,,,

Yup, Chris (the oldest) has a 5-6 day leave @ Christmas,then he heads over too,he will be a few hrs. north of Sam. He drives a gun truck guarding convoys,and already did one tour in Iraq. This time around though, he was issued a grenade launcher for his M-4- the driver needing a grenade launcher has me kinda concerned. From things Sam has told me (definitely not his ma), Afghanistan is a much different game.
