doesn't even compare....
Cough..cough... well theres nothing like a crisp cloud of snow dust in the face .
We went to St helens last wknd for our 1st trip north with the quads. Had fun , new adventure, a whole new world out there. We learned alot being our 1st trip out on the trails and how to prepare for the next adventure.
Dust , dust and more dust cough cough cough. very dusty sport unless you hit it after a rain . To say the least, we smelt dust, we tasted dust..we brought dust home with us ...
Still had fun though, quads ran great and it was a strange feeling riding right down to middle of the streets in town . St helen has a open rule to ride anywhere as long as your not being stupid , parked the truck and did everything on the quads ..even went to the pharmacy on the wheelers . Alot of the locals ride their quads to work ... very cool
We had one casualty.... our kodak 875 has been retired due to ingestion Had the 875 tucked in my coat(carhart) like we do for sledding . Well it's been a tough camera over the years but was no match for the dust monster. Even being pack in the case and inside my coat it got packed with dust and it no worky now ! Now it's time for a GO-Pro !
We rode 60 miles for the day and never touched the same trail twice . We want and are trying to make it back up there for their orv/atv jamberee in aug , looks to be a blast .
Here's a few pics of what we did get .
