helmet ?????

Hey everyone , I have a 16yr old daughter that wants to try snowmobiling this year. She has never been on one yet but wants to try it out. The question i have is would you think i need a junior helmet or a small adult ? and is there such a thing as a size chart to tell what size would be used by some type of measurement ? does anyone have a no longer used one laying around ? I dont want to go and spend alot right away. My guess is she wont stay with it. jmo !!

What I have found Brook, She just needs to try one on. Each manufacturer sizes different and that would be the only way to get one that fits her like it should...IMHO

Thats what i have been trying to do. But try to get a 16 yr old to go someplace with Dad !!!

Hey Brook, if you figure out what size she is let me know. I have a junior HJC helmet I dont need anymore. I think its an XL.

Brook , most lids have a #size on them (ie, small 6 1/4" -7 1/4" )
Take a sewing tape and get a measurement of her head , say from the temple area around to the back , then one from the top of the ears around . This should give you a good idea .

You can pick up a lid for her for under or right around a 100 bucks at a sporting goods store ..even wally word . Just make sure it's a snow helmet.

I just measured her head, and also found a sizing chart on the Dennis Kirk site . she is going nuts wondering why I measured her head. I wont tell her !
