What did you doo this weekend ?

I was at the best swap meet i have been to this past Saturday. It was at the Great Lakes Dragway in Union rove Wis. it i our local Drag Way . They have a Huge swap meet and 500ft Grass drags 2 lane track. I am not exactly sure on the exact #'s here but this is close to what happened. There was a team I think called "The Outaws" with their drag sleds there. They run Yamahas. I think they were 1000cc Huge turbos. I got to see and watch a sled go faster then I have ever seen. It made a New world record there. On a 500ft track. 3.2seconds @ 132 mph Un F----n beleivable ! Also there was a 120 class Polaris kids snowmobile witha custom Billet engine. It was a 250cc. @ 65HP. It was driven by a 7yr old kid (boy) 97mph at at 4.? seconds. Some guy in Thestands said the sled ran on a Nitro mixed fuel ?? there was only like 1 or 2 Mod sleds there that could beet him. Yes I had a great time Now I need to RIDE !!

Sat at home in the dark because we had a huge nor'easter that dumped alot of snow here in maine,some reports are like 20+" in some spots got power back around 6pm

1 buffie, 13 oldsquaw, 4 scoter (I think all white wings) and 1merganser

Nick, not to put down your taste in ducks, but do you actually eat those type of ducks. Mergansser, old squaw, scotter. Do you bread them and put them in a deep fryer?

We dont eat the merganser but yes, everything else we will eat. Cut the breast up into small strips. Get an aluminum disposable tray, fill it with 2 cans of gravy (heinzs in the glass cans), cut up some onions in big chunks and put it in the gravy. Put a bunch of the duck in the gravy and bake/cook in the oven for 2 hours or so. Near the end of the 2 hours boil some noodle and you have a nice tasting diver duck meal. Beer makes it a little better

Spent some of it sitting in a tree,watching little Bucks roam around...
